When it comes to social media I'm well aware that I'm about five years behind everybody else - all the hip young gunslingers have moved onto something else by the time I catch up. But indulge me please, it would make me happy! When I got together with some fellow stitchers last week to watch the first episode of The Great British Sewing Bee, I was the only one not Tweeting throughout the show. The others mercilessly bullied gently encouraged me to set up a Twitter account, which I promptly did, and I'm now delighted to have joined the 21st century.
